Use the Publish Templates pages to create and manage the visual display of your word output. In this section you can pre-define your preferred format of the published document, for example, fonts, font colour, cover page layout, cover page image and header and footer.
Choose one of our pre-build Sample Cover Pages or upload your own Custom Cover Page created in Word.

Sample Cover Pages
These sample themes all include a cover page, header, footer and a table of contents.
Click on the icon as shown below to view a copy of the sample cover page.
If you decide to use one of the samples, select your preferred cover page before creating a report in the Web Portal. Selecting the report will pull through the pre-defined formatting.
Select Upload to access your computers files. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop the file to upload it.
- Select the document and click Open.
- Click Upload
- The new cover page has now been added under Custom Cover Pages.
- To rename, view or delete the cover page, click on the quick select icon (three dots) as shown below:
Note: You cannot delete a Custom Cover Page from the list if you have already published a report using this template.
If you decide to use one of the Custom Cover Pages, select your preferred cover page from the list before creating a report in the Web Portal. Selecting the report will pull through the pre-defined formatting.
Note: You can only Preview an output by creating and editing a report in the Web Portal or iOS app.
Photos Section
In the Photos tab you can change the appearance and layout of photos within the body of your report and appendix. Use the toggle buttons to include or exclude photos and captions.

Publish Templates
Upload your own custom publish templates or download the default one and make any changes.

References
References provides a library of content available to copy into your data capture fields or custom templates.
This list shows the available Field References available for this data capture.
- Create a Reference within the capture settings.
- Select the clipboard icon to automatically copy the refence into your library. (This is useful when you are building your report in word.)
Tip: Use a Reference that will help you identify this section in your data capture.
For example, the table below shows is how References will appear in the data capture build, iOS app and output.
